hey! thanks for reading.

a couple of days ago it was sunday. me and kevin went to watch blackburn rovers beat portsmouth 3-0, it was a good game because they had hardly any chances at all and it’s just what we needed after being knocked out of the uefa cup last thursday.

monday came and went, was mainly filled with uni during the day and t.v at night. tuesday was also filled to the brim of uni till 5.15pm so i missed my train down to nikki’s.

i eventually got to nikki’s at 8pm and i got to stay with my bubba all night, was fun. i went down because it was my bubba’s first ultrasound scan. nice and early at 8.40am, it was so thrilling to actually see our bubba there on the screen! love you!

it took me ages to get home this evening, hours and hours. while i was in manchester i decided to take my macbook to the apple store in the shopping mall, because a couple of weeks ago i noticed that the screen casing started to come away from the screen itself. i left it with them to fix and i got a phone call from then when i got home a couple of hours later, saying it was fixed. now thats what i call service!

now i’m having to type this blog on a pc, eww.

pictures of bubba can be seen on my facebook or myspace, just click the links to the left.

night night.

day 25 of the february of this year 2007, location front room settee, watching bbc 3, waiting for two pints of larger and a packet of crisps to come on. lets track back shall we.
well this last week hasn’t been awefully interesting compared to other weeks, didn’t do much on any day thinking back.
this blog is looking like it’s going to be way shorter than usual. when i havant been at uni, i’ve been working at tesco which has been very busy recently for some reason. finished today at 12.30pm and walked around town for a bit before going home.
At the moment i’m home alone so quite bored now, not much to do at this hour.
i promise to put some pictures up on here next time.
bye bye for now.

tomorrow is another day x

it is now monday evening, 23:29 to be precise. i’m just half way through watching ‘rain man’ on film4. ace film that is, well i think it is. was also released in the year of my birth, 1988!
anyway, lets start with friday. can’t remember doing much that afternoon but i did go to work in the evening, which was average as usual. i amazed myself by actually getting sleep that night but not much because i had to be back in work the next morning at 8am. that went ok, then went home and watched blackburn rovers draw with arsenal in the fa cup fifth round. it wasn’t the most interesting game i’ve seen, but at least we have a replay to look forward to.
sunday, we went out for a meal because my brother is going to japan for a year on thursday. i had minestone soup for starters then gammon and egg for mains. ooo and chocolate ice cream to top it off.
and monday came, went back to uni after being on half term, i was looking forward to going back, don’t know why. was fun today like most days and in the afternoon we were learning how to key out green screen.
came home, and spoke to my nikki, miss you hunny x

‘rain man’ is still on, so i’ll wind it up now by saying, au revoir

x

wow! it’s been over a week since i updated on here, so lets get started.
last thursday i was walking around manchester trying to find the academy in the freezing cold but it was all fun.
the concert…was ace! best concert i’ve ever been to, can’t wait till they come back to the uk (i got one of craig’s plectrums!) i also liked the support bands but the thing that shocked me was the blistering heat! i was sweating like a pig in there!
i took plenty of pictures like i said i would and i’ve put most of them up on my facebook account, so check them out if your interested.
after the concert, me and nikki spent the night at her brother’s home and then set off to nikki’s the next morning. the next few days were ace because i got to spend them with my two bubba’s. we went on a nice walk to see and feed the squirrels!
how was your valentine’s day? mine was nice because i got to be with my baby except when i had to go to work in the evening. but i was upset yesterday because i had to say goodbye to her, i didn’t want you to leave.
sorry it’s a little short this time, my brain hasn’t woken yet!

ta ta.

welcome to the third blog post of the highly popular ‘rob stead and the world around him.
ok, well it’s been an interesting few days away from this blog and now it’s time to share with you all the wonderful delights on what i’ve been upto.
well where did we end, ah sunday. not much happened on that day to be honest just plenty of xbox 360-ing if i can recall. i guess monday was more eventful. in the evening my brother decided to take me along to the premiere of ‘hot fuzz’ at blackburn vue cinema, starring my tutor chris hehe.
for only £10 you got a free goody bag including a free dvd of ’shaun of the dead’ and a signed poster of ‘hot fuzz’ oh and also being able to see it nearly two weeks before a lot of people in the world was kind of cool too. the film…very good in my opinion, but a lot like ’shaun of the dead’ with the fast montage shots.
we got the bus back to clitheroe and decided to travel to tesco for some food. i ended up buying the new fall out boy album on the day of release for a shocking price of £6.94, a bargain i think.
got home, and then from all i can remember i went on msn.
then sooner than i knew, it was tuesday. arrived in uni early which was good and met dan with our ‘actor’s’ for the day. (dan’s friends from college, charlotte and emily, the twins as they are sometimes known as).
we had a fun day filming with ste upto his usual making us laugh with an uncanny impression of that freak girl from the ‘the ring’
wednesday came and went because it was mostly filled with xbox 360-ing, it was fun while it lasted. spent the whole evening doing uni work, so i was doing something for the good.
today is a day i’ve been looking forward to for a long time and now it’s arrived! and i bet it will be over very quickly. i get to see my nikki! my bubba, my special baby who i love so so much with all my heart and soul. – love you babes.
it is also the day of the +44 concert! i get to see the man himself, mark hoppus. if there is a god. it’s him!
i’m going to go into uni in the morning then set off for the concert in the afternoon. i’ll probably be taking loads of photos so no doubt you’ll see them on myspace very soon.
wow this was a long blog entry, must have been all the writing i’ve been doing this evening.

today is thursday.

today is sunday. but because it is 4am i will talk about yesterday instead of today.
i got a couple of hours sleep before getting up for work starting at 8am. it was freezing outside! and inside tesco wasn’t too warm to be honest but i’d live. surprisingly busy in the morning, i don’t know why.
-note to self. i need to get 14th february off work.
i impressed myself by only spending 68p on my break, which is very good for me.
finished work eventually at 12.30pm and went home to get changed before setting off to go to manchester. stu picked me up and caught the 1.36pm train.
we wandered around manchester for a while, had dinner at the food court, and wandered some more. i remember seeing this funny man with a drum and wearing a long cloak. he was terrible but i suppose all he wanted was something to eat, unless it was a student trying to pay his debt lol. wandered back to the train station via urbis which was packed. well i think it was, because it was very foggy at the time.
we got the 5pm train back the clitheroe and then stu dropped me off at home. amazingly i fell asleep around 7pm which is very strange because i hardly sleep, that is why i am up now. i woke up at 11pm and chatted on msn for a while then decided to set this blog up.

that was day 1, a lot more interesting than most days lol. bring on thursday!

good morning.

heya, thanks for taking your time, whatever you were doing to read this blog.
i want to aim to get on here at least twice a week and fill you in on the goings-on but i can’t promise that i will, so don’t get too upset lol.
so what is this blog about exactly? well the title kind of gives it away but basically what you will be reading every week is an insight into my world. i suppose like a diary or a wierd truman show-type thing, where you can all look into my world.
i really don’t know how well this will go but i might as well give it a try. if it goes terribly wrong, well fair enough, it wasn’t for me, but if it does do ok, the happier i will be.

well that was a short briefing on what you’ve got yourself in for, check back for more very soon.

peace x
