may i first thank the people who read my last blog, it was the best viewed ever! thank you!
it’s been 3 weeks since i last went on here, so it’s about time i updated you on what’s been going on. (there’s not a lot to be honest.)
the whole of last week i had to leave nikki behind and go up to waddington to look after the pets while my parents were on holiday. it was a very boring week, mainly consisting of xbox live playing and lounging around wondering what to do. i did though enjoy listening to the countless stories the americans told and none of us understood at all!
stu came round one time during the week, got takeaway and played more xbox. we were meant to be going to the cinema but we didn’t in the end.
i’m sorry this was a short blog entry but i hope to have more blogs in here very soon.
thanks for reading.

happy 1st august!
welcome to yet another edition of ‘rob stead and the world around him.’ todays subjects include:
- the transformers movie
- the simpsons movie
lets start, the transformers movie, i saw yesterday. it has its good points but also has its bad points. i think the special effects were amazing, probably the best i’ve seen for a long time. the robots looked very real next to the humans. what i don’t like about the film is the constant references to the auction site ebay. i wouldn’t be surprised if ebay sponsored the film with the amount of plugs it got lol! also i think it was a little too cheesy in some parts because i thought it would be more of a serious action film.
second, the simpsons movie. i saw this when i was in rhyl with nikki on the second day of release. i thought this was a lot better than transformers and think it will do better in the box office too. it was a good story and had plenty of laughs especially everyones favourite ’spider-pig’! i think it was a little too short but i suppose it would’ve dragged if it went on much more. one more little nag, i think the trailers for it revealed too much, i’d seen half the film before i went to the cinema from the numerous trailers they had released.
well that was my ’short’ review of my opinions on those two films, feel free to criticize but be constructive.
thank you,
keep reading.
