hey world, just a quick word from me tonight.
ali got weighed again today and now he’s 10lb 1oz! 10oz more than last week. 
huge now.

currently listening to the mercy killers, i highly recommend you go an buy their album, it’s a band with catchy songs and addictive intros! (it’s hard to find but it’s there somewhere lol).
ali gets another weighing tomorrow! so if you keep checking back to this blog, you will find out how much he weighs tomorrow night.
he also started smiling a couple of days ago! it’s adorable!! i will eventually manage to take a picture of him smiling just to let you see for yourself.
if you’re bored and want to watch a film, go out and find ‘pet sematary’, it’s a poor film, but you might enjoy it, just look out for it next time you’re in hmv.

good evening to all,
this is just a quick update on what’s happened in the past few days.
as you can see from the blog title, ali went on his first ever holiday at the weekend to wales! as always there’s plenty of photos up online for you to look over when you’ve finished reading this post.
the weather was great so we went down to the beach to try and find some crabs (i don’t know why crabs lol). but anyway, we couldn’t find any crabs except a dead upside down one 
we strolled down the beach listening to the waves rushing to the shore as we watched people running into the sea, as well as a dog! there was even a fisherman! so lots for ali to see!
i told you it was only a short post, i’ll come back on here sooner than you think.
just to let you know, ali got weighed again today, he’s now 9lb 7oz! that’s 6oz since last week.

he’s put on over two and a half pound in four weeks! he’s doing ace with his growth, he nearly doesn’t fit in his newborn clothes. more pictures are on myspace and facebook if you want to check out for yourself how he’s doing

i wonder if comments will come flooding in to say how cute he is lol!
went to the first ‘parental class’ this afternoon, that was an experience. we arrived at 2pm and the receptionist reluctantly let us in because she said the class started at 1pm (even though nikki swears that the class started at 2pm).
it had been raining so we weren’t that impressed anyway, and when we walked in there was a circle of mothers with their kids staring at me because i was the only man there. sat down and listened to what they had to say about their babies and what we should buy and use to make our baby as good as theirs.
anyway… rant over, i’m sure it’s not that bad really. i probably didn’t go into the room with the right attitude because of the rain and that we missed the first bus because it came early meaning we had to wait an hour.
i want to try something new.

i should have mentioned it in the last blog, but i forgot lol. i’ve posted 30 blogs since february! not bad going i think.
news:
ali is now registered! he’s officially a person and not ‘untitled’ lol!
and that means, me and nikki are officially dad and mum!
we named him…
alistair stanley william stuart stead. yeah it’s a long name but all the names mean something special to both of us.
we went to chester to get him registered and went around the city for the rest of the day. nikki ended up buying a replica liverpool fc kit for ali, grr lol
currently waiting for dinner to cook while watching ‘cold case’ (nikki loves it).
ali’s still growing! he was born 6lb 10oz and in three weeks he’s grown to 7lb 13oz! he’ll be chubster soon
well this was just a short news update on what’s happened recently and when something major happens i’m sure i’ll be on here to let everyone know.
