i speak to you now, from the comfort of the bedroom. why?
it’s because i bought a new router box for the house because the old one couldn’t reach past the living room lol.
i can now sit elsewhere instead of being permanently stuck downstairs! woo! and xbox live can now move upstairs too! good times.
we’ve also started to move things into the attic so we can start on decorating the extension into a living room for nikki, ali and me.
ali has now started to take baby rice, just a little in the morning and evening because it says recommended for 4 months but he seems to be enjoying it. he got weighed this week. he’s now a massive 11lb 2oz! well done ali!!
i’ve got work in the morning 
but then i get friday off which is good.
england are out of euro 2008 boohoo, but good news for the environment…at least there won’t be all those stupid flags flying from car windows! they so annoyed me!
right, time for bed.

good evening all!
lets get this blog rolling. the iphone was released last friday and i didn’t think i would see people queue outside shops at cheshire oaks, but according to the newspaper today, apple have sold tens of thousands of the mobile devices since friday. i wouldn’t have thought that it would be that popular because of the very high price just to buy it, then a minimum of a £35, 18 month contract with o2. the price of it put me off even though it is an amazing device. hopefully it will go down in price and eventually go onto a pay as you go tariff so we don’t have to stick to o2.
yesterday we went to the park with ali. played on the swings, see-saw and the obstacle course! he was half asleep but i’m sure he enjoyed himself. you can find the photos online and i’ll put a couple at the bottom of this post. it’s bath time soon, after emmerdale though.
we will be going up to clitheroe for a couple of days in two weeks to see family etc, it’ll be nice to see clitheroe again, haven’t been up there since the summer lol.
and to wrap this blog up, just a tiny tiny rant. i went into work this morning and they’ve bought an apple mac mini to replace the cheap cd player to play the in store music on. they’re just using it for playing music so i don’t see why they would’ve forked out £400 just for a device to play music on when you can get a cd player for £30 lol! i’m not complaining just thought it was a little strange.

good afternoon world!
so the whole hobby idea which i wrote in the post last week didn’t work, i really wasn’t expecting anything so wasn’t that surprised.
an update on ali’s weight. he was weighed on tuesday and he was 10lb 6oz, but will probably be heavier now.
he had his first proper injections today, one in each leg. he cried but he was a very very brave boy and has to go back in four weeks to get another set of injections. i think it’s better to have them earlier than later so he can build up his immune system.
i got the new angels & airwaves album on monday, ‘i-empire’. i would say it’s better than their debut album. each song has it’s own individual style, instead of them all sounding like one long song which i think it did in the other album.
i’d also like to comment on the album art for ‘i-empire’. i don’t know whether they did it on purpose but i think it looks like a star wars poster slightly. what do you think?
